William “Bill” Forsythe of Chisago City, MN

Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years LaVonne; his sons, David (Marla), Daniel (Karen), Bill Jr. (Lori), Dale (Peggy); his grandchildren, Aaron, Amy, Kristi, Marcus, Courtney, Chase, Hannah, Britta, Cullen; his brother, Al (Pat); many special friends and neighbors.
Raised in River Falls, Wisconsin, Bill retired from Northwestern Bell in 1985. He served as a volunteer fire fighter in Maplewood, Minnesota for many years. An avid golfer and devoted family man, bill will be dearly missed.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 5th at Zion Lutheran Church, 28005 Old Towne Road, Chisago City, MN. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Thursday, May 4th at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake, MN.
Lori Lynn Widlund of Forest Lake, MN

Lori Lynn (Daman) Widlund, age 42, went to be with the Lord on April 20th after a difficult battle with Lymes Disease. Preceded in death by her Grandpa Art Daman, Grandpa and Grandma Simonson. She will be deeply missed by her children, Par Widlund and Vanessa (Rai) Manrique; loving parents, Harlen and Sandie Daman; sisters, Julie Korus and Michelle (Brian) Gunderson; nieces and nephews, Brittney (Chris) Lingasin & Aaron Korus, Jacob & Ellie Gunderson, Daman & Aidan Lingasin; and her special pet Samantha.
Memorial service 3 PM Saturday, April 29th at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake. Visitation from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday at teh funeral home. Memorials preferred to Lyme Disease Assoc., Inc., PO Box 1438, Jackson, NJ 08527.
Lori suffered for so long and is finally free of pain. May she know the peace and unconditional love she always gave to us. We didn’t know how lucky we were to have her. . . . ”We know now.”

Roger Gryskiewicz of Forest Lake, MN

Roger Grysckiewicz, 54, of Forest Lake died suddenly at his home on April 14, 2006. He is survived by his sons Ryan and Adam; his parents, Conrad and Ludvine Grysckiewicz of Argyle, MN; his sisters, Janice (Roger) Rybaski, Donna (Ron) Larson; nieces, nephews; coworkers and students from North Branch school district; and many friends. Roger taught as a middle school science teacher in North Branch for 31 years. His life will be celebrated at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 19 at North Branch High School auditorium. Visitaion will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the high school on Wednesday. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Deutrelle “Duke” Paige of Forest Lake, MN

Deutrelle “Duke” Land Paige, age 84, of Forest Lake peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at his home on April 11, 2006. Duke was a longtime muscian playing the organ and piano in many local establishments. Duke was a member of the Twin Cities Musicians Union. He is survived by his wife, Gini Paige; his son, Jeffrey Hepola; his daughter, Marla Hepola; his grandchildren, Genesis Hepola and Ryan Bevens; and his great grandchild, Chakiira Price. A private family celebration of Duke’s life was held.
