Leonard Paul Martin, age 88 of Forest Lake passed away on Monday, May 29, 2006.
Leonard Paul Martin was born on April 9, 1918 in Eagle Lake, ME the ninth child of Paul and Elodie (Laferriere) Martin. His early life was spent in Eagle Lake and the Plaisted, ME area where he attended school and worked in the woods with his family.
A veteran of World War II he enlisted in the Army on December 26, 1942 and was stationed in the Philippines (Lati Luzan).
On September 9, 1947 he married Rita M. Becker in Turton, SD. They farmed in that area for several years. Leonard also worked for the State of South Dakota. Rita passed away in 1971. In 1978, Leonard retired, sold his farm, and moved to MN where his daughter lived. On January 6, 1979 he married Ethelyn L. Gravunder Tompkins in Chippewa Falls, WI. He resided there until her death in 2004 when he again went to live with his daughter in Forest Lake, MN.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; step father; 10 sisters; 4 brothers; first wife, Rita M. Becker; and second wife, Ethlyn L. Gravunder.
He is survived by his daughter and son in-law, Ila Mae and Robert R. Rigwald, grandson, Brian L. Rigwald (Connie Pastorius); step-children, Keith Tompkins (Terry), Kathleen Brunstad, Tim Tompkins, and Helen Tompkins; 11 step-grandchildrn; 4 step-great grandchildren; sister in-law Florence Martin; brothers in-law, Clem Becker and Delmar Gravunder; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, June 2, at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 11 AM, Saturday, June 3rd in Prairie View Cemetery in the village of Lake Hallie.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend, Age 62 of Forest Lake passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on May 27, 2006.
Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruth Schrader; her son in-law, Keith Komro on May 13, 2006; and two special friends.
Survived by her loving husband, Dennis; her children, Laura Schrader (Robert Johnson), Tracy Komro and her daughter Kaitlyn, Kevin (Erica) Wiler; her brother, Richard Schrader; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 3rd at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake with one hour of visitation prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
Keith A. Komro of Forest Lake, MN

Died suddenly on May 13, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Karen Komro. Survived by his loving wife, Tracy (nee Wiler); and precious daughter, Kaitlyn; his brothers, Ronald Jr., Cliff, Scott (Cheryne); his niece Krystal; his nephew Kevin; and in his in-laws, Dennis and Nancy Wiler.
Memorial service will be 2 PM Thursday, May 18th at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake with one hour of visitation prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to a trust fun for Keith’s wife and daughter.
Joseph J. Johnston of Forest Lake, MN

Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep due to compliciatons from Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy on May 11, 2006 at his home. Survived by his father, Timothy (Billie) Johnston; his mother, Hattie Perry; his sisters, Ashley, Stephanie, Cassandra, Danielle; his brothers, Jeremy and Brendan; his grandparents, Jim (Pat) Johnston, Debbie (Roger) Erickson; his loving girlfriend, Stephanie; and many other relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM , Tuesday, May 16th at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake. Funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday, May 17th at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Forest Lake. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Joe was courageous with how he handled his disease and was experiencing the happiest days of his life, he will be extremely missed. In liew of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

Beloved dad, son, and dear friend, age 48 of Linwood, passed away peacefully at his home on May 11, 2006 surrounded by his family after a 14 month courageous battle with glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer. Preceded in death by his father, Russ Wagner. Survived by his two daughters, Roxanne Wagner (Chuck), Tina (Brian) Hardin; his mother, Mary Wagner; his brothers, Jerry (Robin), Lenny (Bev), Mike (Patty); his former wife, Janet Wagner; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Age 60 of Forest Lake passed away on May 5, 2006.
He is survived by his wife Dolores of 39 years; sons, Troy and Brent; grandsons, Zachary, Kole, and Kaleb. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends and family members.
Chuck proudly served in the US Navy from 1963-1966. He worked for the Minneapolis Star Tribune from July 1975 – July 1999. He started his own electrical business in January of 2001.
Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, May 9th, 2006 at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, May 10th at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN. Interment will be held at a later time in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
