Age 75, of North Branch, passed away on August 29, 2006 surrounded by her loved ones. Survived by loving husband, Walter; children, Glen (Phyllis) Harris, Ken Harris, Lynne Pirlet, and Craig Harris; stepson, Rik (Sue) Shannon; grandchildren, Alisa, Amanda, Carey, Jeremy, Ricky, Hunter, and Chloe. Geraldine often enjoyed writing letters and watching Shirley Temple movies. She will be dearly missed by her family. A gathering to celebrate Geraldine’s life will take place on Saturday September 2, 1:00 PM at the Lynne Pirlet residence, 5686 409th Ct. North Branch. Memorials preferred to the family.
Dorothy M. Visger of Forest Lake, MN

Age 88, died peacefully on Wedneday August 16, 2006.
Preceded in death by husband, Leslie; son, Dennis; and many other family members.
Survived by daughter, Linda of Cedar, MN; nephews, Kenny (Terry) Visger, Gary Paul and daughter Rachel; and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy was born in Minneapolis, MN but spent most of her life in New Albin, IA. She later moved close to her daughter residing in both Cambridge and Forest Lake, MN. Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano and volunteering in her church, fishing with her husband on the Mississippi River, and playing bridge with her friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2006 at Grace United Methodist Church, New Albin, Iowa with Pastor Keith Putney officiating. Interment services will take place in the New Albin Cemetery, New Albin, Iowa.

Age 84,of Stacy. Passed away accidentally on August 13, 2006. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Stella; daughter, Jean Jochim; son, David Peltier; sister, Margaret Fry; grandchildren, Sherry (Chris) Olson, Kelly Jochim, Daniel Peltier, and Amanda Jochim; great grandchildren, Ethan and Emily Olson. Orginally from Beardsley Minnesota, Leonard was the valedictorian of his graduating class. Although he retired from the Columbia Heights Parks Department, Leonard was a farmer at heart, especially enjoying time on his tractor. Through the years Leonard also enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing the violin and cornet. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends. He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus in Columbia Heights and very active at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday August 23, 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation Tuesday August 22, 4-8 PM continuing Wednesday 9-10 AM all at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home 555 SW Centennial Drive, Forest Lake.
