Kristen Curtis Brown was born on August 2, 1970 in Anoka, Minnesota. Kris passed away on October 29, 2007 at the age 37 years. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard E. and Mary I. Brown nad Shirley M. Schrier. Kris will be deeply missed by his by parents, Larry and Lee Ann Brown; brother, Erik Brown and his wife, Kerrie; nephews, Travis A. and Seth A. Brown; grandfather, Bob Schrier; special aunt, Lori Guyette; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jim’s passion for all things nautical enriched him throughout his life. His greatest joy came from the love he gave to and received from his soul mate, Bonnie and their daughters, Jennifer (Pat) Cunningham, Melissa (Chris) Sells and Elizabeth (Joel) Howie and his grandchildren, John, Thomsen, Elaina, Rachel, William and Megan; sister; Judith Linder and nephews and nieces. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa. Age 64, passed away peacefully on Oct. 13, 2007 after a courageous and brave struggle with Alzheimers. Despite his troubles, Ron enjoyed 6 rewarding years of travel and time spent with his family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Audrey Burque. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Karen; children, Mike, Dan, Ron, LeAnn and husband Chuck Tuma, and Kristine; grandsons, Tyler, Lucas, and Sam; sisters, Joan and husband Stan Landberg, Mary and husband Gene Menne; brother, Fran and wife Judy; Aunt Orvella; cousins, nephews, nieces, friends, and cat, Merlin. Ron worked 36 years as a heavy equipment operator building many of the freeways and highways around the Twin Cities. He was very dedicated and proud of his chosen profession. Age 76 of Forest Lake, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Calvin in 1974. Ann is survived by her four children, Valerie Hillestead and her husband, Kim; Michelle Huebner and her husband, Truman; James Calvin and his wife, Mirasol and John Calvin; 14 grandchildren, Tanny, Desiree, Shane, Fallon, Joshua, Elkanah, Donnie, Travis, Jeremy, Jenny, James, William, Samantha and John as well as 10 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 12:30 PM in Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake, with a gathering of friends beginning at 11:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will take place in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
