Nate was born December 9, 2005 and went to be with the Lord May 25, 2008. 

Survived by his parents, Jerry and Christina; big sister, Annika; loving grandparents, Corinne Prindle and Robert and Barbara Rhea; aunts and uncles; cousins, many friends and caregivers. 

Nate’s smile could light up any room.  He loved his family, Teddy and “Choo Choos.”  Nate was truly a gift from God.  We really miss you Nate Nate. 

Visitation 4-8 PM Sunday, June 1st at Eagle Brook – White Bear Lake Lower Worship Center, 2401 E. Buffalo St., WBL.  A Celebration Of Nate’s Life will be held 3 PM Monday, June 2nd at Eagle Brook White Bear Lake Lower Worship Center with visitation beginning at 2PM until time of service.  Family interment Withrow Cemetery.  Memorials preferred.

John Rydl of Forest Lake, MN

August 11, 1922 – May 16, 2008 – Proud WWII Veteran – Of Forest Lake. Preceded in death by siblings Mary Rydl, Frank Rydl and Ernest Rydl. Survived by loving of wife of 58 years, Caroline; daughters, Betti (Jon) Schmidt, Beverly (Ken) McDermott and Barbara (Matthew) Curtis; 6 grandchildren, Rob McDermott, Troy (Lisa) McDermott, Kari Schmidt, Chris Schmidt, Amber (Ronnie) Emly and Billy Wohlwend; 4 great grandchildren, Jeron Emly, Katie McDermott, Jadyn Emly and Kelliann McDermott; sisters, Alice Rydl, Bess Huffman and Emma (Jack) Tosney. Visitation 4-6 PM, Tuesday, May 20th with a Celebration Service beginning at 6 PM in Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake followed by refreshments. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later time.

John B. Rachie of Forest Lake, MN

John B. Rachie passed away at his home in Forest Lake on May 12 at the age of 70 after a brave battle with an atypical form of Parkinson’s Disease. John enjoyed a 47 year marriage to his loving spouse, Marlene Marie. He was a wonderful father, father-in-law and grandfather to his two sons, Paul and David and their families: Paul, Catherine Thimmesh, Jaimie (12) and Simon (10); and David, Kimberly, Julianna (8), Angelina (6), John (3) and expected granddaughter Alexandra; and a loving brother to his sister Beth. John’s parents, Cyrus and Helen Rachie and his sister, Janice, have previously passed away, all of whom he loved very much. John attended the University of Minnesota where he was a member of SAE and served on the Union Board of Governors. He earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree. John had a successful and satisfying law practice in downtown Minneapolis for many years. More importantly for John, he was happiest at home on Forest Lake with his family and friends, his philosophy books and nature. It was the lake he first came to at age nine with his parents and sisters where they spent their summers at the family cabin. He loved the lake so much that he moved his own young family into a home on that same lake in 1967, where he spent the next 40 years, including the final peaceful days of his blessed life. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Services will be held on Friday morning at Roberts Family Funeral Home: 555 Centennial Drive S.W., Forest Lake, Minnesota; Visitation at 10:00 / Service at 10:30 / Lunch to follow. There will be a private burial at Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials preferred.

Age 65 of Isanti. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 8, 2008. Preceded in death by parents, LeRoy and Anna Mae; brother, Richard; sisters, Therese Barthold and Jeanne Taylor. Survived by beloved wife, Beverly; children, Kim (Brad) Parker, Scott (Lisa) Johnson, Sara (Chris McIntyre) Johnson, Richie Johnson and Jason Johnson; grandchildren, Justin Witucki, Tucker Johnson, Kamp Gislason, Chelsie McIntyre, Tryston Johnson and Taylan Johnson; brothers, LeRoy (Barb) Johnson, Dan (Tyra) Johnson and Jim (Nancy) Johnson; brothers-in-law, Jack Barthold and Dick Taylor; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Lorrene Elizabeth Rasmussen of Forest Lake, MN

Age 90 of Forest Lake and formerly of Burnsville, Minneapolis and Coon Lake. Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on May 7, 2008.

Preceded in death by husband, Robert A.; son, Robert J.; mother, Elizabeth Victor.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Linda (David) Neudecker, Forest Lake; grandchildren and their spouses, Andrew (Nicole) Neudecker, Hugo, Justin (Melanie) Neudecker, Forest Lake, Elizabeth (David Robinson) Neudecker, Forest Lake, Alanna Rasmussen, Burnsville and Julie (Christopher) Melton, Faribault; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ashley, Emma, Jessica, Hailey, Elise, Chloe and Lewis; daughter-in-law, Cindy Rasmussen, Burnsville.

Lorrene is remembered for her love of ballroom dancing with the love of her life, Bob, grocery shopping, cooking for her family, traveling, fishing, pontoon rides, reading and making beaded jewelry. She recently became known as the Beloved Bead Lady” at Parmly where she had been residing since September 2007.

Celebration of Life 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 13th at Parmly LifePointes Chapel, 28210 Old Towne Road, Chisago City with visitation beginning at 10 AM until the time of service. 2 PM Graveside service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at Assembly #1.

Age 81 of Hamel, formerly of Forest Lake, passed away on May 5, 2008. Preceded in death by parents, Roy Joseph and Mary Louisa Leroux; sister, Rita Crews. Survived by children; Rita (Philip) Kramer, Joe (Rachel Scarbrough), Vicki (Eric) Vevea; grandchildren, Nicolet, Gabrielle, and Isabelle Vevea; sister, Lenore (Norb) Koch, brothers; Roy (Lavonne) Leroux, and Jean Leroux; brother-in-law, Robert Crews. Funeral serivce will be held 12:00 pm Saturday May 10, 2008 at Roberts Family Funeral Home 555 SW Centennial Dr, Forest Lake, with visitation two hours prior to service. Family interment will be at Wyoming Methodist Cemetery.
