Judy was kind and funny. I look forward to seeing her at every national specialty and will miss her. I hope her family knows how much she will be missed by Border Terrier people and that she won't be forgotten.

Shocked and sadden with your loss... Judy was one of my sisters in a Church Family School. I grew up seeing her everyday from grade school to high school. Such a loss of a beautiful spirit!
Doug, Brent, Lindsey, and Trevor,
So stunned and saddened by Judy's passing. She was a marvelous neighbor to my grandparents Bruce and Dot as well as to us when we lived there too. We wish we could be at her celebration of life but are currently away. Please accept our deepest condolences, you're all in our prayers.

I also met Judy through the world of border terriers. In the last few years, she became one of our best friends. We had such wonderful times together, and she was like family. I can't believe my phone will ding now, and it won't be from Judy. The picture of her on the left is pure Judy. Sparkling eyes, huge smile full of teeth, and those dimples! I can't believe she is gone, but she enriched our world beyond measure while she was with us.
One of my favorite songs is from "Wicked," and it's been playing in my head all day:
"I've heard it said
That people come into our lives
For a reason,
Bringing something we must learn.
And we are led to those who help us most to grow
If we let them. And we help them in return.
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true,
but I know I'm who I am today because I knew you.
Like a comet pulled from orbit as it passes the sun,
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Halfway through the wood.
Who can say if I've been changed for the better
But because I knew you.
I have been changed for good.
Love you, Judy.
Judy was a force of nature. Friendly, funny, fun loving. Generous with her time. Smart as a whip. She will be missed in the dog world, and the many other places she walked in the world. Feeling so bad for Doug, her kids, and extended family.
I met Judy at a border terrier specialty in 2014. She offered to groom my girl for me. She took the time to help someone in need. I soon realized that this was not an unusual act for this lovely caring person. I never saw her without that wonderful smile of hers. She was a friend from that point on. I always will remember the warmth of her heart. She will be missed by everyone. Thank you Judy for being you.
Doug and family, We are so very sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you. Judy always had such a warm smile and was so friendly when she stopped up when she spent the day working with you. You're in our thoughts and prayers. Diane and Mike

Doug, Lindsay, Brent and Trevor and families, we are shocked and heartbroken. We will sure miss Judy's smile and "hello neighbor", her willingness to help, no matter how busy her life was.
