I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit with Scott a couple weeks ago. I hadn't seen him for about 20 years....and I felt terrible for that. We laughed and cried and had the opportunity to pray together. It was something I will cherish forever. Shelly and Brie...you had an awesome man in your life! In that short time we visited I could see how much he loved you both. I'm so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you all.

In love,
Mark Jenson

To all family members of Scott: Especially Shelly, Brie, Pat and George: My heart aches for all of you. To "lose" such a young family member is just plain devastating. During my visits to Hugo, I have always enjoyed any time spent with Scott. He was always jovial, friendly and upbeat. Such a nice man. I will be thinking of all of you in the upcoming days. It was awesome how Scott fought the good fight. And having so many wonderful family members, as well as supportive work and church-related friends, was certainly a great tribute to him. To all the families, my deep and sincere sympathy for your loss.

Scott was such a special man, husband and father. When he was around, everyone around him was smiling. What a great gift he gave to all who knew him!! We have missed him. He gave everyone the gift of seeing how to handle life when it got hard. A man of great courage, strength and love. Shelly and Brie, he will always be with you. love, Bob, {Hammer} and Trina

Shelly my heart is broken for you and your daughter. May God give you the comfort and strength you need. I remember Scott as a nice guy who was fun to be with and who always made me laugh and make me feel like i mattered. My only regret is not keeping in touch. We never know when our time is up and surely his was too early but, he was faithful and he is in a perfect place of peace. Till you meet again. Love, Kelly White (schoenecker)

One of the nicest guys ever. I will always remember him and the Mille Lacs fishing trips. Life is so often unfair and Scott is an example of this. However, my memories of Scott will always be the best. He had the best family ever. We need a lot more Mirons in this world . Our prayers and sympathy go out to all.
