Age 53 of Cedar passed away peacefully Sept. 29, 2009 surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer. Employed by Hoffman Engineering for 33 years. Preceded in death by parents, Bob and Bertha; father-in-law, James Evenson; brothers-in-law, Jerry Bougetz and Michael Ehrlichmann; niece, Tracy Johnson Kraling. Survived by wife, Mary; children, Roberta, Ben, Jimmie (Julie Moran) and Ricky; grandson, Devin Noblick; 8 siblings, Shirley Bougetz, Robert, Jr. (Rosann), Judy Jenson, Randy (Anna), Kathy (Jim) Kapla, Geri (Larry) Berg, Kris (Dale) Beyer and Theresa (Verdie) Niskenan; mother and father-in-law, Peggy and Robert Anderson and a host of other relatives and many friends.

    To Rick’s family, I hope you take comfort in knowing that his suffering is over and he is at peace now. Stay strong and my heart goes out to all of you!!
    I was raised in the same neighborhood as the Johnson’s and have long been trying to locate Kathy, Rick’s sister. I’m sorry it had to happen on such a sad occasion. To Kathy and her family, my condolences. I would love to get in contact with Kathy & Shirley, the two people in this family that I remember the most. Kathy was my best friend when I was little and always had a special place in my heart. My Mom, Eileen, loved to call her by her full name, Kathleen Hattie Johnson………..and Shirley was our babysitter several times, me Vikki and my sister LeeAnn. I would ask that the funeral home give Kathy my e-mail address should she ask for it.
