Vincent Michael Sersic of Chisago City, MN

Vincent Sersic, age 92, former lontime resident of Duluth, passed away Monday, August 22, 2005 at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, Wyoming, MN.  

Vincent was born Jan. 23, 1913 in Jurandvor, Yugoslavia to Lucille and Michael Sersic. He married Elma Maki on December 23, 1952. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma in 1999.  Vincent worked as a cook on many different ships throughout the world.  He served in the Army as a Merchant Marine during WW II. 

He is survived by his stepson Dr. Richard (Beverly) Nyman of Chisago City; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Friday at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Burial will be Friday afternoon at Park Hill Cemetery in Duluth.
