Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Gene’s military service to our country in the Marine Corps and as a long time Legion member.

  2. Gene was a wonderful gardener. He shared his raspberry plants with us and I have shared mine with our kids. I think of him every time I go down and pick them. A generous and kind person. Never forgotten. ❤️

  3. Gene was a great person I enjoyed helping him and talking to him when he came into our Hardware store in Scandia. He was one of my favorite customers. Prayers to the family he will be missed

  4. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss… Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

  5. Rita, Jeff, Gene and Jeremy sorry for your loss. I have such found memories of uncle Geno, may you find comfort that he is at peace.

  6. Rita, I only met Gene once. It was at a graduation party, and the interactions between the two of you showed that you lived a lot of years together as great friends. You were comfortable with each other, laughed easily at each other’s witty comments, and the love you shared was obvious. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I am so sorry you have lost him so soon. It is not fair. It is heart-breaking. You have 50 years of wonderful memories to help you through this difficult time. These memories will bring the harsh sting of loss at first, eventually they will bring you comfort, and in time they will bring you smiles and laughter. I am praying for you and your family that all the wonderful memories you have of Gene will bring you the comfort and solace you are seeking. Hugs.
