Memories Timeline

  1. Oh, dear family, so many good memories of Bud over the years. Our ASP trips together will be treasured forever. He was truly a servant. Watching him buzz around the church yard with his very speedy mower, hanging the Community Care banners after church on Sundays (for many years), pushing food to cars at Community Care, building crosses for church, setting up the stable( he built), for Christmas, bringing in kleenix for the pews, are just a few of the many ways he served without asking for praise for himself. He truly, truly loved God and served well. He will be missed in so many ways. Our hearts ache for you in this difficult time.

  2. Many great memories of Bud, but the one that rises to the top is when he agreed to solo dog-sit our toy poodle for a weekend. Was there anything that Bud wasn’t willing to do for a friend?!

  3. On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Ralph’s military service to our country.

  4. My condolences to your family. Bud was one of the sweetest men, and always a cheerful volunteer. Praise God, he’s with The King of Kings forever. Cindy Lannon

  5. All of us at Quest 180 are saddened to hear about Bud! He was so generous and kind to all of us. We will miss him dearly! Jill K.

  6. I hope you are enjoying lemon cookies in heaven ❤️ Prayers for all who loved you so much and now hold you in their hearts. Rest in the loving arms the One you served so faithfully. Corene Olson

  7. Been a while since I have seen Ralph. We had some great times in the early years between softball and volleyball. My thoughts and prayers reach out to the whole family.

  8. Growing up at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, we saw Bud as a pillar of the community. A strong, kind, patient role model, who always had the time to talk to you. He was my ASP crew leader my first year, and I’ll never forget his commitment to helping all of us learn how to rebuild the parts of the house we were working on. He will be dearly missed.

  9. Being a part of Forest Hills for many years was a wonderful gift and knowing Bud was a blessed gift. Bud was and is a man of God. We feel so fortunate to have known Bud and now he is with Jesus which is another gift. Our thoughts and prayers are with Judy and family. It is the hardest for those left behind when we know they are having a party in Heaven.

  10. Very sorry to hear about Ralph, my dad Layton Cohoes coached a men’s softball league and Ralph was on the softball team. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Judy, and his family. From Janet, Daniel, and & Robyn Cohoes

  11. Judy I am so sorry! I am sorry I am in California and will not be able to share your loss in person! My prayers are with you! Take care! Love Dennis Hegberg

  12. Lynn and I were so sad to hear about Ralph’s passing. He always had a big smile and robust laugh. We are sure he will be missed by many. We shared time on the softball field, a the Huntosh fall parties at their homes and other couples events. We can’t be there Monday but our thoughts and prayers are with all the family and many friends. With love, John and Lynn Ashby

  13. Rebecca and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear dad. My heart breaks for you. Thinking of you and sending love and peace. Paula (Kliedon) Chamernick

  14. Judy and Family, I am so sorry for your lose. I was a little late to the visitation but was able to give Judy a big hug – I hope she will share it with all of you. The service was beautiful! I love learning how much a person impacted the people around them. I knew Bud was a great guy but I learned he was more then that he was a fabulous guy! I will keep all of you in my prayers.
