September 19, 1959 ~ September 6, 2016
Attention: Local 49ers Age 56 of Stacy. Loving Husband, Son, Father Friend. Passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife with his children, Damien and Jeanie, at his side on September 6, 2016. Scott was a loyal and devoted demolition worker for Rachel Contracting. He also enjoyed hunting, dirt biking, and snowmobiling. His love for his wife was second to none. Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Lillian Pernu, Edward and Lucille Durand; brother, James Durand; brother-in-law, Mikeal Hughes; and uncle, Duane Pernu. Survived by his wife, Sue; children, Jeanie, Damien, Jacob, ShaVaughan (Blake) Roberts, and Tank Bies (Cassie); grandchildren, Hailey, Addysyn, Slevin, Sophia, Macy, and Madie; parents, Joseph and Barbara; siblings, Stephanie, Lisa, Steven, Joseph Jr., and David; brother-in-law, James; sister-in-law, Kristie; father and mother-in-law, Dale and Judy Hughes; four-legged friend, Calie Jo; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Scotts Life 1 PM Saturday, September 10th Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake, with visitation beginning at 11 AM until time of service. Please come dressed comfortably in your favorite rock n roll T-shirt, moto - sports jersey, or demo shirt. Casual as Scott would want. Memorials preferred to the family. An additional service will be held 12 PM Saturday, October 8th at Lakeview Methodist Church, 23980 County Road X, Hertel, WI 54845 with interment to follow.
